Neurokinetic therapy is a cutting-edge, evidence-based approach to treating pain and dysfunction. It is based on the principle that the nervous system controls movement, and that by retraining the nervous system, we can improve movement patterns and reduce pain.
NKT is a systematic approach to assessing and correcting faulty motor patterns held in the body by the brain. Unlike other techniques which address the "hardware" of the body, NKT provides the practitioner with insight on what is happening with the "software" of the body.
NeuroKinetic Therapy is based on the premise that when an injury has occurred, certain muscles shut down or become inhibited, forcing other muscles to become overworked. This compensation pattern can create pain or tightness.

Physiotherapy

Physiotherapy is an evidence-based approach to the diagnosis and management of musculoskeletal injuries. At Element Pilates, we emphasize a holistic, full body approach to care. Our goal is to not only diagnose your specific injury (or injuries) but to also find the root cause so we help you recover now and prevent future imbalances from arising.

Reflexology

Reflexology is an art and science based on the principle that there are reflexes in the feet, hands and ears. The feet, hands and ears are microcosm of the body, reflecting the entire body; all the organs and glands. By applying pressure with specific thumb and finger techniques, reflexology will reduce tension, promote relaxation, increase circulation and bring body back to balance/homeostasis.
